'Anjaadhe' is produced by Nemichand Japak and V Hitesh Japak. Directed by Mishkin, the film features Narain, Prasanna and Vijayalakshmi. The climax scene took place at sugarcane fields in Tenkasi.
The scene shot was of Vijayalakshmi being chased by the villain's henchmen. When running, her arms were scratched terribly by thorns and the wounds started bleeding. The scene was shot anyway because her bleeding wounds came to light only after that. She was given medical attention immediately and is under rest now.
Speaking about the incident, Vijayalakshmi says, "They warned me that sugarcane fields would have snakes. That scared me. So I ran real fast and in the process, the rough cane plants scratched me. I noticed the blood oozing only after the shooting. I am resting for a week before reporting for shooting again."
